Administrator will play an important role in the smooth and effective operation of the entire office on a daily basis. Those working in the Organization will usually be responsible for supporting in a variety of ways including communications, scheduling, data entry and secretarial services. The role of the administrator involves a great deal of multitasking. The administrator will work with the teams of the social workers and the lawyers. Also, she/ he will interact with beneficiaries, staff and visitors either by phone or in person.
Generic Responsibilities
- Administrative support to the SN Services.
- Meeting and greeting beneficiaries in a warm, friendly manner.
- Booking appointments with the SN Services and managing the calendar.
- Receiving and distributing mailing.
- Screening, answering and forwarding calls.
- Communication with beneficiaries, SN employees and/or other organizations when needed.
- Support and assistance activities, events and meetings at the Solidarity Center.
- Update and maintain updated contact lists.
- Develop and maintain effective filing systems, both electronic and hardcopy.
- Ensuring the reception area is kept neat and tidy.
- Support the operation at the reception.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- University Degree in Humanities, Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, and/or related field.
- Experience in working in NGOs and/or client-oriented services at least 3 years.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English is necessary.
- High computer literacy (MS Office).
- Field experience working with vulnerable groups.
- Respect of humanities principles.
- Understanding of the humanitarian context.
