Responsibilities
Main Mission:
The proper handling of the payroll process of the Association’s personnel.
Main Duties:
- Manages the data of the Association’s personnel related to demographics, employee’s modifications and employee history
- Carries out the appropriate calculations in the Association’s Payroll System & issues the final Payroll State, which checks in detail.
- Issues and finalizes the Payroll Accounting Article. Together with the Accounting Article, also sends to the Association’s accountant department aggregate monthly payroll statements & statement of insurance funds, to enable the accountants to carry out their own audits and pay the final funds of public authorities.
- Ensures the implementation of the provisions of the Greek Labor and Insurance Legislation.
- Controls and processes the whole procedure (HRM payroll system, timesheets, ERGANI system-Public Authorities, etc.) of the leaving employee and is responsible for collecting the necessary signatures for the contract termination / withdrawal forms. Also ensures the “closure” of the leaving employee’s physical file.
- Checks, issues, and distributes the supplementary labor inspectorate statements for new recruits.
- Participates in continuous internal audits by our donors and/or chartered accountants, by providing them the appropriate documentations for further checks.
- Manages workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Files documents into appropriate files in a timely manner. File and maintains employment records.
Essential
- University degree from an accredited academic in Business administration or Economics preferably in Human Resource Management;
- Experience in similar position with Knowledge of the PYLON payroll System (Epsilonet)
- Very good knowledge of payroll functions and procedures;
- Confidentiality concerning financial and employee files skills;
- Fluency in Greek and English language;
- Strong interpersonal & communications skills;
- Sound work ethics;
- Well organized and efficient;
- Strong IT skills (excel, word, internet, etc.)
