On February 15th, SolidarityNow organised the “Opportunity Now” Job Fair, aiming to bring together workers and employers, offering direct access to career opportunities, the possibility to make valuable professional connections and gain experience.

More than 400 people came to the organization’s Athens Solidarity Center and held on-the-spot interviews with representatives of the 18 participating companies. The number of available places exceeded 200!

The one-day Job Fair turned into a multicultural celebration, where people from many countries of the world, of different ages, specialities and education, came into contact with representatives of the Greek labour market, gained or reinforced their experience in the job search effort, while receiving guidance from the organization’s experts in the preparation of their CVs.

Week of Parallel Actions – Workshops on Work

The week of February 10-14, prior to “Opportunity Now”, SolidarityNow organized six (6) workshops on different work-related topics, each of which targeted different population groups in order to meet their needs on the topic of employment and integration.

We would like to thank the 18 participating companies and their representatives who contributed to the smooth organization of “Opportunity Now”, and who share with us the same vision of equal opportunities for all to access the labour market, with the sole criteria being the professional skills and qualifications.
