The distinguished speakers of the event were all presented through the organization’s digital media, whereas one of the speakers, Dr Dafni Chalikiopoulou, Associate Professor in Comparative Politics, was interviewed by journalists for the radio station of Athens 9.84. Furthermore, the moderator Kostis Papaioannou was interviewed twice for the To Vima and for Parapolitika radio stations.
On the occasion of the event, SolidarityNow awarded Mr Amed Khan, philanthropist and founder of Elpida Home, for his philanthropic work. Furthermore, prior as well as later the event, Mr. Khan’s work in Thessaloniki for the refugees attracted media attention:
