Job Purpose

We are looking for a reliable Cleaner to provide SN accommodation scheme with cleaning services as required and ensure that floor premises, offices and wherever else needed are clean and reflect a good image of living space. The Cleaner is expected to comply with SN Code of Conduct and the national employment policies and show a high level of integrity and commitment. A keen eye for detail is highly appreciated for this position.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all SN premices (Floors, furniture, restrooms, etc)
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all SN apartments prior to the beneficiaries arrival
• Prepare a list of cleaning and/or kitchen supplies on bi-weekly bases or whenever needed
• Other duties as requested
• Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC (Heating, Ventillation, Air Conditioning) repairs
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow)
• Identify and report the need for major repairs

Requirements

• All Cleaners are required to adhere to the SN Standards for Professional Conduct and the national employment policies
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct every day – in the site and in the community
• Maintain confidentiality
• Previous relevant experience will be considered an asset
• Clean and organized
• Good time management
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
• Greek language is a must
• Basic English is required. Arabic and/or farsi is not required but will be considered an asset
• High school diploma or above
