“The organization’s readiness is a direct result of the swift action, ingenuity and good will of its teams who overcome their personal fears and work for the common good meeting the demands of the urgent conditions. Our personal invisible heroes, who fight every day for the obvious: equal rights, access to medical health, access to work”, states Antigone Lyberaki, #SolidarityNow’s General Director about the #ourheroes new podcast series focused on the “invisible” role of humanitarian workers in the field.

Read and listen(available only in Greek) the stories of Evangelia, Konstantinos, Myrto, Vasiliki and Alexandra, Giannis, Marina, Grigoris, Evi and Katerina, some of the “heroes” and “heroines” of SolidarityNow. 👍 "Readiness, Creativity, Teamwork": that is the motto driving the SolidarityNow efforts to continue its activities so as to respond to the intensive needs aroused in the times of COVID-19, for the people living in refugee sites. In addition to its presence in the field, the organization created and functions a series of new educational, entertainment and informational tools. 💻📲🖱 The first tool developed was a digital podcast training channel entitled “SolidarityNow rings a bell!”, through which children and adults can listen to a series of educational and entertaining messages. 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 * The Child Friendly Support Hubs project is implemented by SolidarityNow with the support of UNICEF and IOM Greece and funded by the European Commission.

📢 Ακόμα ένα νέο εκπαιδευτικό βιβλίο αναπτύχθηκε από την ομάδα του #SolidarityNow για τους μικρούς μας μαθητές. 📕📒 Πρόκειται για το ΜΑΘΑΙΝΟΝΤΑΣ ΤΗΝ ΑΒ - ένας διασκεδαστικός και πολύχρωμος τρόπος για να μάθουν τα παιδιά τα γράμματα που απαρτίζουν το ελληνικό αλφάβητο. 🇬🇷🔤 «Πρόκειται για ένα εγχείρημα που ξεκίνησε με ώθηση την αγάπη προς το αντικείμενό μας, τη διδασκαλία της ελληνικής γλώσσας. Αποφασίσαμε να φτιάξουμε ένα υλικό που να ανταποκρίνεται στις ανάγκες των μαθητών προσχολικής και πρώτης σχολικής ηλικίας, οι οποίοι συχνά λόγω του μεταναστευτικού ταξιδιού μπαίνουν στις τάξεις μας για πρώτη φορά, δίχως πριν να έχουν ακούσει ποτέ ελληνικά! Αυτή η ιδιαιτερότητα μας έδωσε την έμπνευση της δημιουργίας ενός υλικού στο οποίο τα γράμματα γίνονται φίλοι με τις εικόνες και δημιουργούν μικρές ιστορίες με αρχή, μέση και τέλος.
