Languages: Fluent in Farsi and Greek or English

Responsibilities

Interpretation

  • Interpretation for beneficiaries and staff during one-to-one consultations or information sessions
  • Ensure accurate and precise information is passed to the beneficiaries in an understandable and culturally appropriate manner

Other Duties

  • Reception of beneficiaries at the Center and guide them through the program’s procedures
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the line manager

Required qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Fluent in Farsi and Greek and/or English
  • Previous experience in a relevant position
  • Familiar with refugee and migration Issues
  • Cross-cultural awareness and understanding
  • Computer literacy & numeracy
  • Well organized and efficient
  • Good interpersonal & communications skills

Desired

  • Fieldwork experience e.g., in camps or temporary settlements
  • Interest and experience to work with vulnerable groups
  • Fluency in other languages e.g Sorani, Kurdish, Turkish
