The journalist Evi Saltou from “To Vima” writes the stories of three refugees who are making a new start in their lives in their new country, Greece. Among them is Shaimaa, a beneficiary of the Employability Service of SolidarityNow’s Blue Refugee Center in Thessaloniki.

Shaimaa is now making her professional dream come true with the help of the organizations, opening her own restaurant called “Ustura” (myth in Arabic), in the center of Thessaloniki!

Shaimaa was supported by the Employability Service at the Blue Refugee Center by SolidarityNow, under the project 𝘽𝙍𝘾 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨 which is implemented in collaboration with UNHCR Greece.
