Triple P Positive Parenting Program
Within the framework of the National Action “Promotion of Family and Child Health,” implemented by the Hellenic Ministry of Health in collaboration with UNICEF and funded by the European Resilience and Recovery Facility (RRF), SolidarityNow is implementing for the first time in Greece the internationally recognized Triple P – Positive Parenting Program as an implementation partner.
Through evidence-based practices, practical tools, and guidance from specialized professionals, the program supports parents in feeling more confident, capable, and calm in their daily lives with their children.
The Triple P Methodology
Triple P is one of the most extensively researched parenting support programs worldwide, backed by more than 30 years of research and implemented with millions of families globally.
Program Implementation – The Role of SolidarityNow
The program offers different levels of support to meet the needs of parents from birth through adolescence:
1. For parents of infants up to 12 months
Supports the transition to parenthood, strengthens emotional bonding with the baby, helps manage fatigue, and nurtures the couple’s relationship. It includes both group and individual sessions with personalized guidance.
2. For parents of children aged 1–16 years
Thematic seminars and parent groups provide practical strategies on setting boundaries, fostering cooperation, building self-confidence, strengthening resilience, encouraging responsibility, and promoting healthy social relationships. Learning takes place through discussion, real-life examples, and guided practice. (delivered in two age groups: parents of children up to 12 years old and parents of children over 12 years old.)
3. For parents of children with complex needs
Designed for parents who wish to better understand developmental changes and strengthen communication, boundaries, and cooperation within the family. These groups include video demonstrations, a dedicated handbook, and a 30-minute follow-up phone session for personalized guidance.
The SolidarityNow team implementing the program consists of psychologists and social workers, ensuring the effective delivery of Triple P with the aim to support today’s parents as they face multiple and diverse challenges.
