Job Overview
The job holder is expected to provide support in various human resources functions, which include administrative tasks on relevant issues, recruitment, administration, etc and provide employees with necessary information, as well as to recruit volunteers and interns and prepare induction planning and training for them in collaboration with the Programs’ Coordination Teams.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the HR department’s day-to-day operation.
- Assist in monthly HR administration actions, maintain and update personnel documents and records (control of paperwork, archive documentation, contracts, payroll receipts etc).
- Support Finance/Accounting department on HR-related issues upon reporting and audits.
- Participate in Staff Recruitment: prepare job offers and communicate with the selected candidates.
- Upload new hirings, modifications, shifts, etc.
- Provide employees with all necessary information regarding HR policy and procedures.
- Design and implement volunteer recruitment actions at a national level (depending on SN’s needs and projects).
- Develop SN’s offer for volunteers to bring their skills, experience and time to our structures.
- Run the volunteer onboarding process, ensuring that all our volunteers have the required training, guidelines, etc.
- Develop ongoing opportunities for feedback from our volunteers and interns.
- Train and guide volunteers/interns on practical projects and help them make the most of their experience.
- Maintain confidential information discreetly and protect employees & volunteer privacy.
Qualifications
- Preferably holder of a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration/Human Resources Management/Social & Humanitarian Sciences.
- Experience in a similar position for at least one (1) year.
- Familiarity & fluency with ERP (Knowledge of EpsilonNet program of PYLON is strongly desired).
- Fluency in Greek and English language.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
- Sound work ethics.
- Well-organized and efficient.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office).
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of labor legislation is highly appreciated.
