Position Summary: Interpreter is expected to ensure mediation and interpretation from and to beneficiaries of Athens Solidarity Center Social, Legal, employability counselling/psychologist or Reception Service and within the function of complementarity Services (Accountancy Support) In addition, should be able to contribute to the identification of most vulnerable in cooperation with Professional Aid Workers

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Intercultural Mediation -Interpretation
• Mediate with beneficiaries while briefings or sessions are conducted
• Ensure accurate and precise information is passed to the beneficiaries in an understandable and culturally acceptable way
• Data base and Case related info management
• Filling and registering all cases and actions to the DataBase upon instructions of the supervisor
• Maintain hard and electronic files archive updated
• Perform entries in the data base system as required by the above
• Mentioned tasks

Other Duties

• Participate in Field Trips and Assessments as requested and directed by Supervisor
• Brief and debrief beneficiaries for running programs availability and inform for any relevant change
• Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and facilitate their access to available aid
• Accompany team members in occasional field visits /FU visits to houses of beneficiaries

Qualifications-Essential

• Fluent in Farsi/Dari and Urdu
• Previous Experience in Relevant Position
• Familiar with Refugee and Migration Issues (Asylum processes, Relocation –new Law)
• Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility
• Computer literate & numerate
• Well organized and efficient
• Good interpersonal & communications skills
• Fluent in Greek or English

Desired:

• Field Working Experience entry points, Camps/Temporary Settlement or mobile units serving refugee population
• Proven Engagement in Refugee Focused Projects (e.g Assessments, Surveys, Missions in Islands or to the borders)
• Fluent in Pashto

Position: Team Leader – Psychologist

Status:  Full Time

Position Summary: The Team Leader of the ASC psychologists will lead the provision of timely and effective psychological support for all walk-in or referred beneficiaries while identifying vulnerabilities to link eligible cases with support and aid available. The Team Leader must be able to apply psychological care to both groups and individuals while monitoring the attendance and performance of the psychologists and coordinate the team.

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate team of two psychologists
• Prioritize cases according to needs and vulnerabilities
• Provide a comprehensive package of Psychological Aid Services to individuals
• Provide counseling and treatment.
• Ensure referrals internally and externally.
• Identify vulnerabilities and facilitate their access to available aid.
• Provide case management for child protection and SGBV cases and liaise with competent authorities and professionals (i.e., doctors, public prosecutors) as required.
• Represent team in external and internal meetings and working groups.
• Perform other duties, related to the basic job description as requested by the supervisor.

Database and case-related info management:

• Registering cases to the database and maintaining appropriate records
• Complete brief and full psychological history intake

Networking and collaboration:  

Cultivate and maintain an active collaboration link with other psycho–social services NGOs and Governmental Actors within the scope of the project.  

Reporting: 

Ensure the provision of high-quality reports on activities, indicators, and achievements within the established framework (narrative and statistics)  

Qualifications and Skills

Essential: 

• University Degree in Psychology
• Psychologist Permission of Work
• 3 years experience in Relevant Position (at least 6 months in project serving refugees and migrants population)
• Previous working experience with local or international NGOs, as well as Civil Society organizations or initiatives will be considered as a strong advantage
• Familiar with Refugee and Migration Issues
• Understanding and willingness to promote gender equality and understand different vulnerabilities, needs, and capacities of men, women, boys, and girls
• Understanding of psychological needs and issues for survivors of Gender-based Violence
• Understanding of protection principles and humanitarian framework
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multi-cultural setting
• Cross-Cultural Awareness and flexibility
• Computer literate & numerate
• Well organized and efficient
• Good interpersonal & communications skills
• Native in Greek
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

• Field working experience
• Specific studies and or proven engagement in Human Rights Projects
• Previous working experience with local and international NGOs and supervising psychological teams will be considered as a strong advantage
• Knowledge of the French language (both written and spoken)

Job Overview

We are looking for a System / Network Administrator to maintain and manage our Software, Hardware and Networks infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure that our organization technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Install and configure software and hardware for servers and workstations.
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
• Set up workstations, user accounts, permissions, and passwords (Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Dynamic CRM)
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Support and resolve problems reported by users
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
• Upgrade systems and workstations with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies

Skills Required

• Proven experience in a System / Network Administrator role
• Hands on experience in networking, routing, and switching
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of IT infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
• Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking
• Written and verbal communication skills, both in Greek and English languages
• Ability to work well within an IT professional team

Background

• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
• Professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CISCO Certifications) considered as a plus.
• 3+ years of relevant working exposure
• Driving license
