JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:  SN TSC – Office Administrator

Location: Thessaloniki

Status Part – Time

Responsibilities:

Child Safeguarding Policy

Level 2 The job holder will have sporadic contact with children

 Generic Responsibilities

  1. Administrative support to the SN Services.
  2. Meeting and greeting beneficiaries in a warm, friendly manner.
  3. Booking appointments with the SN Services.
  4. Receiving and distributing mailing.
  5. Screening, answering and forwarding calls.
  6. Communication with beneficiaries, SN employees and/or other organizations when needed.
  7. Support and assistance activities, events and meetings at the Solidarity Center.
  8. Update and maintain updated contact lists.
  9. Develop and maintain effective filing systems, both electronic and hardcopy.
  10. Ensuring the reception area is kept neat and tidy.
  11. Support the operation at the reception.

 Qualifications

  1. University Degree in Humanities, Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, and/or related field.
  2. Experience in working with NGOs and/or client-oriented services.
  3. Native in Greek and fluent in English is necessary.
  4. High computer literacy.
  5. Field experience working with refugees/migrants and/or other vulnerable groups.
  6. Strong communication skills.
  7. Being patient.
  8. Energetic, enthusiastic and able to motivate others.
  9. Excellent time management skills.
  10. Strong prioritization and organization skills.
  11. Ability to handle confidential information.
  12. Ability to multitask.
  13. Ability to be a good communicator, to listen carefully to beneficiaries’ questions and requests.
  14. Team work.
  15. Problem solving skills.

Desired

Knowledge of French, Arabic, Farsi will be an advantage
