Responsibilities

• Focal point of communication for vulnerable families or vulnerable beneficiaries;
• Assess and address social needs of the beneficiaries, identify and follow-up cases that require special care;
• Perform case management in cooperation with other project staff and potentially SN partners involved in services provision;
• Cooperate with interpreters where needed for the provision of social services;
• Closely cooperate with other team members, passing on crucial information and expressing the need of action clearly and concisely;
• Keep social register files and statistical records of the caseload and services’ provision;
• Manage individual protection cases, including those on SGBV and child protection, and be in-charge of drafting relevant case plans;
• Find proper solutions to individuals, who are at most risk or victims of violence;

• Conduct needs/gaps and capacity assessments on SGBV response needs;
• Perform social work duties and undertake procedures implementation when referral(s) to other services are required;

Required qualifications and skills

• University degree in Psychology or Social Scientists
• Experience within the civil society sector, preferably working with vulnerable groups and refugees/migrants;
• Professional experience in case management;
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team;
• Ability to troubleshoot and ease potential tensions between the project’s beneficiaries;
• Ability to perform fact finding tasks and clearly articulate results in a fair and balanced way;
• Previous experience in street-work and/or a job entailing direct contact and exchange with vulnerable groups of beneficiaries is an asset;
• Fluency in Greek and English required;
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word business software;
• Experience in community mobilization;

The Social Service Psychologist is expected to provide basic Social Services (referrals, briefings, intake and registration, link up with existing aid provision opportunities) while at the same time is able to identify vulnerabilities and provide specialized counseling, especially to adults refugee population

Responsibilities

Psychosocial Services-Psychological Aid Provision

•  Provide comprehensive package of Psychological Aid Services to the beneficiaries in (and if requested out) of ASC Premises
• Providing F2F Counseling, Guidance
• Ensure referrals internally and externally
• Identify vulnerabilities and facilitate their access to available aid
• Perform occasional field visits /FU visits to houses of beneficiaries

  Data base and Case related info management

• Filling and registering all cases and actions to the DataBase
• Brief and Full Social History taking
• Updating the hard and electronic files per case
• Maintain hard and electronic files archive updated
• Perform entries in the data base system as required by the above mentioned tasks

Other Duties

• Participate in Field Trips and Assessments as requested and directed by Supervisor

Job overview

The ILC Assistant supports the Coordinator of the Center in the smooth and effective operation of the day-to-day operations, supporting in various ways, including communications, scheduling, data entry and secretarial services. The role of the ILC Assistant involves a great deal of multitasking.

Responsibilities 

• Assists the coordinator on a daily basis, in order to ensure the smooth ILC operation

• Συντονισμός και προγραμματισμός ενεργειών για την παροχή ολιστικής φροντίδας και πλαισίωσης στα φιλοξενούμενα παιδιά, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της λήψης κοινωνικού ιστορικού και της κατάρτισης ατομικού σχεδίου δράσης για κάθε παιδί
• Παρακολούθηση της συμπεριφοράς και της εξέλιξης των φιλοξενούμενων, και αναπροσαρμογή του πλαισίου φροντίδας τους αναλόγως, θέτοντας ως προτεραιότητα τη μέγιστη δυνατή συμπερίληψη των παιδιών σε κάθε βήμα

Προϋποθέσεις

• Εμπειρία τουλάχιστον 1 έτους ως κοινωνικός λειτουργός
• Πανεπιστημιακό πτυχίο κοινωνικής εργασίας και σχετική άδεια άσκησης επαγγέλματος
• Εμπειρία με ευπαθείς ομάδες, και ειδικά ασυνόδευτα παιδιά
• Καλές επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες και ικανότητα επίλυσης συγκρούσεων
